Silly Sally

Joyful upside-down fun for early readers

This is the kind of picture book little kids want read again right away. The silly backwards journey, playful rhythm, and cheerful repetition make it perfect for reading aloud together. If a child loves funny characters and joining in on a predictable story, this one feels light, lovable, and full of giggles.

Silly Sally went to town, walking backwards, upside down. And that's just the beginning. Come along with Silly Sally and her companions as they parade into town in a most unusual way. Young listeners and readers will be tickled to join the topsy-turvy procession and will soon be reciting the rhymes about Silly Sally's journey. Audrey Wood presents an engaging, simple cumulative tale that children will enjoy reading and reciting for years to come.
