At Thryft, we’re bringing ecommerce to secondhand (aka recommerce)! Using innovative resale technology and AI, we deliver a trusted recommerce experience at scale. Our platform gives users peace of mind as they declutter their preloved items, earn credits for their trade-ins, and shop sustainably.

It all started in 2019 when a bunch of us — students from the National University of Singapore — decided to shake things up.

We were eager to create a circular economy of good and saw the potential of e-commerce for preloved items. With a mission to unlock value for our users and community, we crammed as many books as we could into our dorm rooms and launched our first pilot right on the NUS campus.

And the rest is history!

Our aim is to create the most trusted and accessible recommerce platform for everyone. Using cutting-edge resale technology and AI, we’ve rehomed more than 90,000 items to date, enabling everyone, everywhere, to extend the life of preloved items. Our users can declutter responsibly, earn as they trade in, and shop with peace of mind. We’re a place where our users connect over shared values, where everyday individuals become a community focused on sustainability, and a resource for anyone looking to make more conscious choices.
