Every item we receive is inspected by our staff, who carefully validates it and ascertain its condition.
Book Condition Guidelines
Books in Like New Condition
This book may contain very minor cosmetic defects, but it is in pristine condition. There should be no yellowing, no foxing, no water damage, and no annotations of any kind on the cover and the pages. For paperbacks, there should not be any crease marks on the spine. This book is good as
new — lucky you!

Books in Very Good Condition
This book has been used, but it is still in a clean condition. There should be no foxing or annotations of any kind on the inner pages, but a sparse amount may be present on the cover, title pages, or outside edges of the book. There should be no water damage of any kind. For paperbacks, there may be light crease marks on the spine.

This is a well-read book, which means that the previous owner probably really enjoyed it! The cover and pages may include moderate foxing and annotations, but the text is not obscured and still readable. Clothing Condition Guidelines
Each and every item we receive undergoes rigorous quality inspection before being listed.
The items we accept are sorted into the following conditions:
New With Tags
This item is practically new with original brand tags still in place!
Like New
This item is relatively new without tags in place. It resembles a piece of clothing that have been worn once or twice, with no visible signs of wear!
Gently Used
The item is in decent condition with no major flaws. There may be slight visible signs of wear, such as light fading or pilling in areas such as the knees, seams, and hems due to being worn or washed.
Signs of Wear
The item has clearly been worn but can still be loved! There may be clear signs of wear such as light pilling, fading, or stains.
How We Measure
We hand-measure every piece of clothing we list, which is then standardised to a common sizing chart referenced to as 'Thryft Size'

Vinyl Condition Guidelines
We grade the pre-loved records by both their Media Condition, and their Sleeve Condition using the following guidelines:
Media Condition
Mint (M)
Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. Used sparingly as a grade, if at all.
Near Mint (NM or M-)
A nearly perfect record. A NM record should have no visible cosmetic blemishes, with no obvious signs of wear. This is the highest grading we give for our preloved records.
Excellent (E)
Record shows slight signs of use by a previous owner, such as minor scuffs or very light scratches. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
A VG+ record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. These signs of wear include visible scuffs or scratches but are generally light and limited.
Very Good (VG)
Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Scuffs and scratches will be more visible and possibly deeper. Slight warps might be present.
Good Plus (G+)
Record shows significant scratches, and visible groove wear. It is likely that noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.
Sleeve Condition
Mint (M)
Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. Used sparingly as a grade, if at all.
Near Mint (NM or M-)
The sleeve should have very minor defects, with little to no sign of slight handling. An LP cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. If present, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.
Excellent (E)
Cover shows slight signs of use by a previous owner, such as minor scuffs/scratches, and/or creases. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.
Very Good Plus (VG+)
Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, discolouration, or cut corner.
Very Good (VG)
Many of the defects found in a VG+ sleeve will be more pronounced. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same may be true of picture sleeves or LP covers.
Good Plus (G+)
A cover or sleeve will have seam splits especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, label wear, or other defects will be present.
*All items are visually graded. There is a possibility that the record may have surface noise, regardless of the grading. Please note that all accessories such as lyric sheets, inserts may not be included. As we include actual photos of the records, please see photos for confirmation before purchasing.
