Description

Synopsis:
Euthanasia has been hotly debated over the years because it forms part of a complex of ethical issues relating to the end of human life, all of which are worthy of attention. This book provides an exposition of the position of the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) on euthanasia. It serves as a primer for pastors, church leaders and Christians who wish to understand the Christian response to this important issue. Part One defines euthanasia, analyses the different types of euthanasia and gives a brief history of euthanasia. Part Two presents the NCCS' case against euthanasia. Finally, in Part Three, the possible impact that legalised euthanasia may have on our society is examined.
