Adventures with an injured parrot and space travel

Rigby Literacy Collections Level 4 Phase 6 is a delightful book that will appeal to young readers who love animals and science fiction. The first story, Iris and Me, is a heartwarming tale about a girl who overcomes her fear of parrots, and develops a close bond with an injured rainbow lorikeet named Iris. The second story, Space Twins, will capture the imagination of young readers who dream of visiting other planets. Denek's adventure on Planet Earth is full of suspense, and readers will be rooting for him to make it back to Yuron safely. Overall, this book is an excellent choice for children who are just starting to read independently, and for parents who want to encourage their children's love of reading.

Note: While we do our best to ensure the accuracy of cover images, ISBNs may at times be reused for different editions of the same title which may hence appear as a different cover.

Description

I used to be terrified of parrots, so I wasn't exactly thrilled when our class was given an injured rainbow lorikeet called Iris to look after. This is the story about Iris and Me.

Denek find himself in double trouble when he goes against the rules and visits Planet Earth. Will he make it back to Yuron in one piece? Or is he doomed to stay on Earth as Space Twins?
