Description

Key Words with Peter and Jane is a reading scheme by Ladybird that uses the most frequently met English words to help children learn to read confidently. This is Book 1b in Series B and provides further practice of words introduced in the A series. It introduces 16 new words, including 'toys', 'has', 'trees' and 'ball'. The method relies on repeated recognition of high-frequency words (look-and-say). There are 12 levels, each with three books: A, B and C. Series A gradually introduces new words; Series B offers additional practice of those words; Series C links reading with writing and phonics. Words introduced in the A and B books are reinforced in the C books.
