Love, ambition, and music intertwine across oceans.
Think of the magic that old records seem to carry, the kind of soul-stirring music that sends shivers down your spine. "It Was Only Ever You" captures that feeling but in written form, weaving together the lives of three women bound by their love for one charismatic singer. As their stories unfold across the vibrant backdrops of Ireland and New York, you get to waltz through the complex dance of love, ambition, and heartache in an era that felt both simpler and yet charged with possibility. It's the kind of book that makes you want to find your own Patrick Murphy, in whatever form that may be.
