The book, Independence: The History Of Graphic Design in Singapore Since The 1960s, presents the history of the country’s independent graphic design studios and a selection of the iconic work created by them over the last fifty years.The book, commissioned by The Design Society and supported by the National Heritage Board under the Heritage Industry Incentive Programme (Hi2P), is the product of a two-year project that brings together the memories of close to 100 graphic designers as well as archival material to tell the story of how modern graphic design came about in Singapore.
