A series of original topics and biographies especially written and class tested for undergraduates. Each topic is treated more extensively than is usually covered in survey texts and will develop new insights in politics, society, and history.

Binding of book is loose. Signs of wear and tear on covers of book, including a stain, run around edges of front cover, creases near and on spine, splotches of ink and a tear on top of back cover of book. Some tanning and shelfwear around edges of book. A few annotations, and some highlighting, otherwise pages in decent condition, with very little foxing.
