2Pac's second studio album, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z..., originally released on February 16, 1993, helped define West Coast hip-hop with standout tracks like Holler If Ya Hear Me, I Get Around, and Keep Ya Head Up. The acronym N.I.G.G.A.Z. stands for Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished, a meaning Tupac explained in interviews and on the album's jacket. In 2018, Interscope/UMe issued a 25th anniversary reissue as a 2LP vinyl edition, reinvigorating the classic for new listeners. The release underscores Tupac Shakur's powerful blend of social commentary and street storytelling that continues to influence hip-hop.
