De La Soul Is Dead, De La Soul's sophomore album originally released May 14, 1991, is reissued here on Chrysalis as a two‑LP set. Produced by Prince Paul, the record helped define their experimental approach to hip-hop and includes enduring tracks such as A Roller Skating Jam Named Saturdays, Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey), and Keepin' the Faith. The 2023 reissue features 140-gram black vinyl in custom printed sleeves inside a customer printed jacket. The album remains a landmark in hip-hop for its boundary-pushing production and lyricism, earning The Source five mics and Gold status from the RIAA.
