Antidepressant

Antidepressant is Lloyd Cole's follow-up to Music in a Foreign Language, originally released in 2006, and showcases his literate, melodic singer‑songwriter style. Recorded largely by Cole himself, the album yields an intimate yet expansive feel with bluesy rock textures and sharp, observant lyrics. The 2021 Ear Music edition includes a bonus 7" and features tracks such as The Young Idealists, NYC Sunshine, the title track Antidepressant, and Travelling Light. This work underscores Cole's enduring craft and his ability to merge storytelling with melodic sophistication.
