The look and pace of life in the 1920s is brilliantly captured in this elegant and amusing book. Everything from Cartier diamonds and New York skyscrapers to kitchen clocks and packaging was influenced by the new and distinctive designs of these years. The style of the period pervaded equally what people (particularly the wealthy) did and when, how they lived and what they wore. All the photographs have been specially taken and Dan Klein re-creates the atmosphere of Art Deco in the text.
