How It Works
Gather Your Items
Round up your items and make sure they check off our acceptance guidelines.
We accept books, clothes, vinyl records, selected electronics, games (card, board & console), children's toys and selected sporting goods categories. Please see what's accepted before proceeding! Across all categories, we do not accept any counterfeit products.
Since your items will be heading to new homes, please only pass on those that are still lovable to keep the Thryft experience delightful for everyone in our community!
Acceptance Guidelines
Items that do not meet these guidelines will be rejected and recycled responsibly.
Books
✅ We Accept
- English language titles of any genre
- Lightly annotated books while accepted, will be processed as lower in value.
❌ We Don't Accept
- No magazines
- No encyclopedias
- No Pre-tertiary textbooks/ assessment books
- No outdated tertiary textbooks (published more than 5 years ago)
- Items that fail to meet our condition guidelines:
Clothes
✅ We Accept
- Only clothes from brands within this list
- Not missing original brand label
- Adult tops, dresses, activewear, outerwear (sweaters, coats & jackets), shirts, skirts, jeans and pants
- Cleaned, and meets minimum condition guidelines.
❌ We Don't Accept
- Clothes from brands that are not within our list of accepted brands. Find out more in our Credits Guide
- Children's clothes, school/ organisation-related wear, undergarments, socks, shoes, caps, hats, bags, swimwear, belts, ties, accessories, pajamas, and home clothes.

Please also note that we do not accept the following items for trading in or donating: DVDs and LDs (Laser Discs).
We only accept music CDs on a donation-only basis.
We only accept authentic items. Counterfeits, replicas, or imitation products will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Book a Pick-Up
Pay S$12/box for Courier Pick-Up (Currently Unavailable)
a. Pack your items.
- Make sure your items meet our Condition Guidelines!
- Pack items into sealed boxes, that you can try procuring from your nearest supermarket.
- Every box you use will need its own shipping label. Take note each shipping label can only accommodate up to 10kg of items.
*1 box of 10kg can accommodate up to 20 paperback books or pieces of clothing, or 10 hardcover books. Assuming average weights of 0.3 - 0.5kg/paperback or piece of clothing, and 0.5 - 1kg/hardcover

c. Schedule your Pick-Up.
- A link to schedule your Pick-Up date will be sent to you 3 to 5 working days after you submit your form.
- Once you receive your link, the earliest Pick-Up date you can schedule will be 7 days from the date of scheduling, subject to availability.
- We will email you shipping labels which you can self-print and attach to your boxes.
