Joanie Sommers' album "For Those Who Think Young" features two distinct sides. Side A, labeled "The Big Band Side," showcases the talents of Marty Paich and his Orchestra, while Side B, known as "The Concert Side," captures a live performance recorded on December 9, 1961, at San Fernando Valley State, Northridge, California. On this side, Sommers is accompanied by her regular touring sextet, led by pianist Bob Florence, along with notable musicians Bill Perkins and Stu Williamson.
