The Old Man and the Sea

Towards the end of his life Hemingway wrote a novel so simple and yet so profound that it is perhaps one of the greatest stories ever told. In 1954 shortly after the publication of “The Old Man and the Sea” he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
