Basia Bulat's The Garden is a retrospective collection that reimagines songs from her five studio albums with lush string arrangements, recorded in a Montreal room with the windows open. The project features fourteen new arrangements by Owen Pallett, Paul Frith, and Zou Zou Robidoux, inviting Bulat's distinctive voice into an expansive orchestral palette. Pallett's interpretation of Heart of My Own nods to Béla Bartók and Bulat's early upright-bass background. Released February 25, 2022 on Secret City Records.
