Description

Empath's Visitor blends intimate indie rock with hazy ambient textures, anchored by Catherine Elicson's plaintive vocals. The album layers found-sound samples - from films and Minecraft to a Bayou nature cassette and more - creating a memory-soaked sonic landscape that lives between memory and place. Fat Possum Records released Visitor in 2022, delivering eleven tracks that move from Genius of Evil to Paradise and showcase Empath's cinematic, exploratory songwriting. A bold, immersive listening experience that invites repeated attention and reflection.
