OST is The Album Leaf's full score for the 2016 documentary Ovarian Psycos, a film about a women-led Latinx bicycle brigade in East Los Angeles directed by Joanna Sokolowski and Kate Trumbull-LaValle. Composed and performed by Jimmy LaValle, the soundtrack fuses intimate piano melodies with atmospheric textures to support the film's narrative and mood. This vinyl LP pressing, released by Eastern Glow Recordings in 2021, presents the score in a focused listening format. The Album Leaf's OST exemplifies LaValle's knack for cinematic storytelling through sparse, emotive exploration of mood and memory.
