Description

Dylan & The Dead is a landmark live collaboration between Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead, captured during the 1987 stadium tour and originally released in 1989. The 2018 Legacy reissue features seven Dylan-led performances with the Dead backing, including Slow Train, I Want You, Gotta Serve Somebody, Queen Jane Approximately, Joey, All Along the Watchtower, and Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door. Produced by Jerry Garcia and John Cutler, the performances were recorded in July 1987 and later mixed in November 1988 at Club Front in San Rafael. This edition from Sony Legacy brings the historic collaboration back to vinyl for listeners and collectors alike.
