Description

1971: The Road Starts Hear captures Aerosmith in Boston in 1971, a historic early rehearsal recorded in the band's rehearsal room on Joe Perry's Wollensak tape recorder. Originally issued as a Record Store Day limited edition, this seven-track session features early versions of songs that would appear on their debut, including Dream On and Mama Kin, along with Reefer Head Woman, Walkin' the Dog, Movin' Out, and Major Barbara. Released by UMe, the LP edition was limited to 10,000 copies, offering a raw, unpolished glimpse into the band's formative energy. A landmark release from Aerosmith's Vindaloo Vaults that captures their early chemistry and raw live energy.
